There She Stands

I love this song by Michael W. Smith There she stands. The American Flag certainly does still stand tall and proud today. First, she has continued to stand because of God's hand of favor that rest on us. Second, she still stands because there have been American from every generation that have been willing to lay down their lives to protect the freedom and liberty she stands for. Despite what the media may try to claim, Americans are still seen as the guardians of liberty and freedom around the world. Much of the world knows freedom and liberty today because some time in the past American fought and bleed there. Most of all, Americans still know freedom and liberty at home today because every time evil has threatens her, Americans stood up, taken up arms and said no.

To all the service men and women, present, past, and future, thank you for protecting liberty and freedom. Thank you for laying down your lives, both physically and figuratively, so others may know freedom and liberty. You are the heroes of Americans everywhere. We support you and love you. God Bless the U.S. Military.
